The Mohave Museum is dedicated to preserving the heritage of Northwest
Arizona and showcases collections of turquoise and artwork and
artifacts from the Mohave and Hualapai Indians. You will also find an
exhibit on ranching in the area.

The museum of the "Mother of all Roads" features the history of the
transportation along the 35th parallel on the longest stretch of Route 66
still in existence between Chicago and Los Angeles

The most famous building in the museum area is the Exhibit Hall, a replica
of the Herron Hotel (destroyed by fire in 1918), located at a lake in the

dedicated to providing educational adventures in human and natural history.

- Show Low Historical Society Museum

It is housed in the former Show Low Police Department. Nine rooms contain
displays (turn of the century kitchen, tools from an old blacksmith shop,
McNary's barbershop chair,...) honoring Show Low's early families and history

- Smoki Museum in Prescott

Designed to resemble an Indian Pueblo, the Smoki Museum was built in 1935
of native stone and wood. It shows collections of prehistoric and
contemporary pottery, prehistoric jewelry and stone artifacts. The Smoki
Museum exhibits also include an outstanding collection of Southwest
basketry and kachinas

- Tusayan Ruins and Museum Grand Canyon NP

within the Grand Canyon National Park boundaries (south rim),
between Moran and Lipan Point on Desert View Road
This facility provides a glimpse of Pueblo Indian Life at the Grand Canyon
some 800 years ago.
